Why not Canada build a city larger than New York … in the Yukon?
And then call the city of the Arctic and break the record for the largest population center north of the Arctic Circle? and make it look like a HUGE Las Vegas, only with polar bears sharing Street and many beers? And to an underground metro transit made of ice? And use artificial light technology for solar shed light day in winter.
To build a great city, you need a large population or a lot of money or both. If you want an alternative to Las Vegas, go to Dubai is like Vegas on steroids, with none of the sleaze. There would also concerns about the cost to the environment, it costs a lot to keep people warm in the Arctic, and transportation costs for food and supplies to the city. Canada is experiencing also a shortage of workers so they do not have the manpower to build this city.
